Imagaro Z What people are saying... ...a must have programme for all sign companies big or small. The time it saves will pay back the cost after the first few jobs and will make you not fear the next customer who says it has to look just like this... This programme has made my life easier and I don't worry about how do I bill all the extra hours of art time. By far the best programme to come along... I use it, I enjoy the time it saves me and like I say "Time is Money". Imagaro-Z has made a believer out of me: this is the first software product I have ever seen that actually does what I thought was impossible. Using this product will eliminate hours of painstaking illustration labor, which translates to more time for creativity and profit for the graphic designer. Anybody whose work involves the correction or conversion of logos and other images must consider Imagaro-Z a necessary addition to their software toolbox. The vectorization tools in Flexi are good. What for many years I felt to be the best, but there was always some clean -up work to do. Imagaro Z has changed that for me. Now my bitmaps trace smoother and cleaner with less nodes than ever. And the color tracing absolutely blows the competition away. Scanning and tracing bitmaps is no longer a dreaded procedure. The interface is intuitive and easy to use. The software is easy to operate, and easy to train new employees to use. The font recognition portion of the software is something that our shop could not live without. Imagaro Z has made us more productive and our customers are the beneficiaries of that productivity. For the past several days I have been working on a logo for a customer with very poor success using all of the different conversion programs I have. Last night I ran it through Imagaro Z, and within ten minuets I had a completed logo that looked great. I had a very poor image to start with and was ready to give up. It has saved me so much time not having to scroll through all the fonts on my computer. Also I love being able to set the accuracy of the tracing. (This really helps with pixally images) It is great to have such control over what the final trace will look like, instead of getting it sort of the way you want it and spending time on cleaning it up later in a graphics program. I was able to do more with Imagaro Z the first time I opened it than in the months that I had my other program. It is easy to navigate through the software. The tutorials are understandable. But after viewing the tutorial, I vectorized a very detailed piece of artwork in seconds that previously would have taken an hour or two to trace. Adobe Photoshop has a Bezier tool that will trace a selected image but not as fast, accurate and intuitive as Imagaro Z. I have scanned and vectorized several logos since I installed it. We had previously done this work in our signmaking software, which is not bad, but still a lot of clean-up. The font replacement tool is amazing. I would say that clean up time is cut by 75% and when you add the font replacement...like I said , it's the real deal... We have been using this program for about a month now and let me tell you it was the best money I have spent; we\have been converting full color clip art to vector black and white in seconds, to plot and to engrave without any problems. It has cut our work time in half, customers bring in their logos full color and before it was a major problem, now it’s not a problem. We scan trace and send it to CorelDraw in seconds. Such a simple and affordable program, and it's fun to use we love it. We cannot see ourselves without this awesome program, we don’t know how we did without it for all these years, and it’s just great! Thank you Imagaro! Our answer in the past has been to insist on vector graphics from the customer. This often resulted in production delays while we waited for the new graphics, but lots of times the graphics weren't sent and we had to revert to re-creating the images from scratch. This was a very time consuming process for us and a very expensive process for the customer. Thanks to Imagaro Z that is now a thing of the past. If the customer can't give us a vector file, Imagaro Z CAN! And the place where Imagaro Z really shines is in giving us a color file where the colors are separate and all we have to do is substitute the necessary PMS Colors in Illustrator. Rusty Chapman Art Department Zenith Specialty Bag If you need to vectorize bitmap pictures and import it into crossection of IronCAD, I can recommend a software called Imagaro Z. We have tried most of the vectorizing software out there and we found this to be the best for us, even better than Adobe Illustrator + plugins. It automatically converts spline curves to lines and arcs when exporting to .dxf. If you have ever tried to import splines from Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw into crossection of IronCAD I'm sure you will appreciate this feature.
